Randy Couture - fighting beyond retirement for MMA

Wily MMA veteran Randy Couture will continue to fight for the betterment of mixed martial arts as the sport continues vying for mainstream success.

From ESPN:
Randy Couture has declared he will continue to fight for the worldwide acceptance of mixed martial arts, even though he no longer competes inside the Octagon.

Couture is one of the most legendary figures to have graced the sport, winning UFC titles in two different weight classes and competing in a record 15 championship bouts. "The Natural" retired this year at the age of 47 to a standing ovation, but he remains a powerful voice within MMA circles.

The UFC is currently fighting to overturn the New York ban on MMA, and the longer term goal is to see the sport featuring in Olympic Games alongside the likes of Greco-Roman wrestling and Taekwondo.

So what do you think? Couture's always been a staple of the sport ... we think he's the right man for the job. Get in gear with XT46 the best training clothing for MMA.
